When Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world, there were
miraculous signs of His victory over sin and death ... the veil of the
temple was torn from top to bottom ... the earth shook and rocks split
into two ... and people rose from the grave praising Him.
But there was an unseen, greater sign of Christ's sacrifice ... He
restored our relationship with God. It's not until Christ came that we
were given the privilege of God's Spirit dwelling in us and that we can
dwell in Him. Christ, the Son of God ... built our homes ... the
dwelling places for our souls ... throughout all eternity.
1 John 4: 12-16
God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that
we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the
Savior of the world. Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of
God, God dwells in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed
the love that God has to us. God is love; and he that dwells in love
dwells in God, and God in him
