Our memories can be like a two-edged sword ... a powerful weapon used
against us by the enemy as well as the blade that can cut through the
lies and deception ... and let truth prevail.
The memories conjured up by our enemy ... our past failures ... our
memories of hurt ... our sins we're guilty of ... these are all meant to
destroy our hope in God's grace and mercy towards us. But in Christ ...
we have been given the power to resist the enemy ... and to recall every
promise God has kept ... every example of grace He has given us ... all
that He has provided ... and above all else, our inheritance and sonship
through the precious blood of Christ that was shed for us.
