Our faith is strengthened as we look at all the examples of God's people
... Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Solomon, Elijah ... and all the
miraculous works that God did in their lives.
We can also see those which God has brought into our lives, ministering to us ... helping us... showing us God's love ... His truth ... and the gracious gift of
salvation through Christ.
We can take heart in the fact that are not alone in this race of life ... but we are one member, one part ... in the family of God.
Hebrews 12: 1
Why seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us
