Daily Word - With a Kiss

3/25/2023

Picture1 JOHN 2:15-16
The enemy's plans and attempts to steal our salvation and destroy our lives does not always come with "fiery arrows" or "guns blazing"

... but often, it comes softly ... "with a kiss."

There is an old saying, "You catch more flies with honey and with vinegar" ... and when it comes to deception, this can be especially true.

The allure of the world ... the lies of the enemy ... the "lust of the flesh, the lust of they eyes, and the pride of life" ... is the very snare that brought sin and death to
all all men.

And Jesus ... the Son of Man ... who came to redeem us all
... was also betrayed "with a kiss."

We need to be wise ... to beware of the "kisses" that the enemy would use to steal all that Christ has redeemed ... all that He paid for in full ... and has given freely to us as His beloved.

Luke 22: 47-48

And while he yet spoke, behold a multitude, and he that was called
Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near to Jesus to
kiss him.  But Jesus said to him, Judas, betray you the Son of man with
a kiss?

1 John 2:15-16

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man
love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is
in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Prayer
: "Dear Lord, help us to be wise and to beware of any lies and deception that the enemy of our souls would use to steal all that Christ truly has for us and not to fall into sin and temptation that would grieve us but instead be blessed by all that Christ has paid for us in full ... In the complete Peace and Joy that He has given freely to us as His beloved."      - Amen

Daily Word - Constant

3/25/2023

PictureHEBREWS 4:12 KJV
The world has completely blurred the line between right and wrong ... good and evil ... truth and lies.

Every day there's a greater and greater influence of political correctness ... wokeness ...

And the adoption of sinful abominations in this world ... where good is evil and evil is good ... and it's going to continue get worse.

But we can be confident and hold fast to the knowledge that through all of these lies and deceptions, there is one constant ... one unchangeable truth that we can rest assured ...

God's Word.  His immutable, Living Word that was given to us ... that has redeemed us ... from the wages of sin and death.  Thank you Jesus ... Amen!

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

Roman 3:4

Let God be true, and every man a liar

Daily Word - God's Mercy

3/25/2023

Picture2 CORINTHIANS 6:4
No one likes traffic ... but for me, it has a top billing in my list of things that I really irritates me.

I find that when I am stuck in "bump-to-bumper" traffic ...  I quickly lose my patience and temper.

But it is often at these times, by His grace, that God tugs at my heart and speaks quietly to me ...

Reminding me of Jesus' suffering on the cross and His life that He was willing to sacrifice for us all ... regardless of all our failures, shortcomings and problems.

It brings me back into perspective ... I'm just in traffic ... its just a little delay  in life ... and not dying on a cross!

Lord thank you for your grace and mercy ... please help me to extend that same grace and mercy in every conflict and challenging situations that I faced daily.  Amen.

2 Corinthians 6:4
4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses

Daily Word - Strong in Grace

3/25/2023

Picture2 TIMOTHY 2:1
It's easy to think about "grace" in the expression of gentleness ...graciousness ... and kindness.

But the grace of Jesus Christ ... the grace that He took to the cross ... that redeemed us from death

... that never ends and never runs out ... is the true grace from God ...  the undeserved mercy that was given to us, without cost to us

... as sons and daughters, and co-heirs.  There is a strength in that perfect grace
and we need to partake of it every day ... every minute ... every second
or our lives, until we are united with Him again.

2 Timothy 2:1
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus

Prayer:
"Dear Lord, we thank you for your true Grace and unending Mercy that gives us the Strength to live our lives for You each and every day. We pray that you would bless us as we live out our lives today in your power and direction, and in your mighty word. In the precious and holy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and by His redeeming grace. Amen."

May God bless you as you continue in His word!

Daily Word - Our Balance Sheet

3/24/2023

PicturePHILIPPIANS 3:7
Banks and other financial institutions always look at financial statements or a balance sheets for our Assets (all our value) and Liabilities (all our debts).

It was through Adam's sin, that the curse of death was added to everyone's list of Liabilities ... and there was nothing that we could do to balance it.

No great work ... no good deed ... no amount of money ... could balance that debt of death ... until the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made at Calvary ... which not only paid our debt in full but also completely restored our inheritance, as His heirs in His kingdom.

Philippians 3:7

“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.”

Prayer: "Dear Lord, we pray your blessing on our lives today, and that we would live by your word and guidance each and every day. We thank you for the price that you have paid in full for our sins on the cross at Calvary and we come to you now with humble and grateful hearts for all that you have done for us. In the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen."

May God bless you greatly today and may you continue in His word always!
