feeling of self-righteousness takes over our emotions ... and we feel
justified in lashing out to whatever and whoever we feel may be
questioning our abilities ... our performance ... our worth.
In those times ... we can look to Christ ... the Beloved Son of God ...
who came not as a glorious King ... but as an ordinary man ... with only
a heart of obedience and love for His Father ... and for us ... and humbled
Himself unto suffering and His death on the cross for all.
Philippians 2: 5-8
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in
the form of God ... made himself of no reputation, and took on him the
form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found
in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death,
even the death of the cross
