2 CORINTHIANS 10:5 There are thirty-six times the word "imagine or imagination" is used in the King James Bible ... and every one of those occurrences is in reference to evil ... man's thoughts and plans, conjured up in his heart, against God, his Word and commandments.
There is something evil ... worldly ... about our imagination ... our thoughts are easily manipulated ... twisted ... where "lies become truth" and the Truth of God's Word disappears in this murky world of imagination.
We need to guard our hearts and minds from falling into the enemy's trap of imagining ... dreaming ... then following these thoughts ... these illusions ... that are merely a mirage ... a lure ... leading far away from God's plans and blessings for our lives, our families and all that is good.
Genesis 6:5
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself
against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought
to the obedience of Christ;
