Daily Word - Our Ark

In the book of Genesis, it records the events of Noah and the ark that

God designed and told him to build ... to save his family, as well as to
preserve his generations to come.  As the rain and flood waters covered
the earth for Forty days ... all creation outside of the ark was
destroyed ... but Noah, his family and all the living creatures inside
of the ark were safe ... and saved.

For all of us in Christ ... He is our ark ... in the midst of every
storm in our lives, He keeps us safe and saves us ... and every
generation to come ... through His victory over death.  All we need to
do is step inside the ark ... in His grace and redemption ... and shut
the door to the world behind us ... which is flooded once again with
sin, death and destruction.

Genesis 7: 15-16
And they went in to Noah into the ark ... as God had commanded him: and
the LORD shut him in

Luke 8: 23-24
But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind
on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.  And
they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then
he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they
ceased, and there was a calm.
