"...WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD." There is a growing concern today about our individual rights and liberties, which at times seem to supersede all other considerations.
But as we look to Jesus' example and teaching, our "rights and liberties" shouldn't be the focus of our lives, but rather our "sacrifice" of these rights and liberties for our God and Savior, who sacrificed so much more for our sake at Calvary.
Romans 12:1
...Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Micah 6:8
...What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Hebrews 13:15
"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."
Matthew 5:3-10
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
