PSALM 42:5-6 It is our nature ... our human nature ... to be distressed, even depressed ... when facing difficult times in our lives ... anguish and pain growing deep in our souls ...
But as we cry out to God, a miraculous thing happens ... our souls are quieted ... our hearts are eased ... as we remember God's faithfulness ...
His strength ... His power ... and His promises never fail. Amen.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope
you in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember you ...
