Many of us have visited another country where we may not know anyone ...
speak their language ... feeling lost and completely isolated from
everyone else ... that's the feeling of a foreigner in a strange land.
But through Christ and the reconciliation of His sacrifice at Calvary
... we are no longer strangers or foreigners ... isolated from God ...
but have given all the rights and benefits of a citizen of heaven ...
and a place in His household, our eternal home.
Ephesians 2: 18-19
For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now
therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens
with the saints, and of the household of God
