MATTHEW 5:45 Sometimes it's difficult for us to understand what we see and perceive as injustice in the world today.
The news of horrific, evil acts make us cringe just at the thought of these events.
In our eyes is appears that "the good" are harmed, and "the evil" often go unpunished. Yet our own "righteousness" is riddled with fault.
God has called us to be gracious ... to love ... to bless ... and do good to them that hate you ... that we "might be the children of our Father in heaven" ... not by our works, but by the grace of God who sent His son, Jesus Christ, to redeem and reconcile us all.
Matthew 5:44-45
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
