THE PASSOVER RAM: HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS According to Christian author Rick Larson's article: "Dating the Crucifixion" the original Good Friday occurred on April 3, 33 AD.
This year, of course, Good Friday once again falls on April 3. Below is a quote from this article:
"...With Kepler’s equations we can determine exactly when historical eclipses occurred. Perhaps it will not surprise you to learn that only one Passover lunar eclipse was visible from Jerusalem while Pilate was in office. It occurred on April 3, 33 AD, the Day of the Cross."

The Bible also tells us there was an eclipse at the crucifixion of Christ:
Luke 23:45
"And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst."
